Why am I not seeing the option to use my OFWpay account to send a payment?

Please note: This feature is available only in the United States.


If you’re unable to select OFWpay as a payment method, there are a couple of common reasons to check:


1. Check the status of your OFWpay application

If your OFWpay application is pending or suspended, the option to send payments using OFWpay will not be available. Please also review: How do I sign-up for OFW Pay

  • Pending: Your application is still under review.
  • Suspended: Your account has been restricted and cannot be used for payments.

If you believe your account should be active or have questions about a suspended status, please contact Customer Support for assistance.


2. Confirm your co-parent has an active OFWpay account

OFWpay payments can only be sent between two active OFWpay users. Both parents must have active OFWpay accounts in order to send and receive payments or reimbursements.

  • If your co-parent does not have an active OFWpay account, you will not be able to select the OFWpay option. Intead, you will see a message indicating that your co-parent needs to link their account.
