How do I reset my username and password?

You have the option of changing your username and password at any time. Change your username and password by logging in on the website or the mobile app. How do I update my security settings?


Updating your username on the website

You can update your username any time in the OurFamilyWizard mobile app or by logging into the OurFamilyWizard website. Learn how here: How do I update my security settings?

  1. In the main navigation menu, click My Account.
  2. Select the Login & Security section from the menu on the left.
  3. In the Username field, click Edit.
  4. Confirm your current username.
  5. Next, create and confirm your new username.
  6. Click Save. You will use your new username the next time you log into your account.

Updating your username on the mobile app

  1. Tap more (the three dots) in the bottom right corner
  2. Tap Security
  3. Tap Username
  4. Enter your current password to make Username changes.
  5. Enter and then Confirm your new username.
  6. Tap Save. You will use your new username the next time you log into your account.

Retrieving Your Username

If you have forgotten your username, you can request a reminder from the mobile app or the website.

Please note: In order to use the username assistance tool on the OurFamilyWizard website, you will need to have provided a number for ‘Mobile Phone’ within your account. If you do not have a number listed for ‘Mobile Phone,’ you will need to contact Customer Support in order to retrieve your username. Get in touch with our Customer Support Team here. 

  1. Go to the Username Assistance tool by clicking "Forgot your Information?" or "Forgot username or password?

  2. Tap "Forgot username?"
  3. You will be asked to provide the following information:
    • The email address you subscribe with
    • The mobile phone number associated with your account
  4. Enter the requested information and click "Continue." You will be sent a 6-digit verification code via text.
  5. You will then be prompted to enter the 6-digit verification code. Once you have done so, your username will be sent to the email address associated with your account.  

If you need password assistance after retrieving your username, please go to the Password Assistance tool. If you are unable to retrieve your username via username assistance on the app or website, please contact Customer Support for help. 

 

Updating your password on the website

You can update your password any time in the OurFamilyWizard mobile app or by logging into the website. Learn how here: How do I update my security settings?

  1. In the main navigation menu click My Account
  2. Select Login & Security from the menu on the left.
  3. In the Password field, click Edit.
  4. Enter your current password in the first box.
  5. Create and confirm your new password, making sure to type this password the same way in both fields.
    • Your password cannot be your username or email address.
    • Your password must be between 12 and 25 characters and include:
      • At least 1 letter
      • At least 1 number
      • At least 1 symbol or special character
  6. Click Save to update your password.

Updating your password on the mobile app

  1. Tap more (the three dots) in the bottom right corner
  2. Tap Security
  3. Tap Password
  4. Enter your current password to make password changes.
  5. Enter and then Confirm your new password.
  6. Tap Save. You will use your new password the next time you log into your account.

Retrieving Your Password

If you have forgotten your password, you can request a reset from the mobile app or the website. 

  1. Go to the Password Assistance tool by clicking "Forgot your Information?" or "Forgot username or password?

  2. Enter the email address on file for your account and we'll send you instructions to reset your password.
  3. Click Send Reset Email.
    • If the email address you entered is associated to an OurFamilyWizard account, an email with a password reset link will be sent to you.
  4. Check the email inbox for the address associated with your OurFamilyWizard account. You will receive an email containing a secure link through which you can update your password.
