OurFamilyWizard takes account security very seriously. When signing up for OurFamilyWizard, all users must create:
- A username
- A password
- A unique 4-digit security code
- A unique security question and answer
These security settings are used to verify customers if they take advantage of our phone support for help with their account. The username and password are required when logging into the OurFamilyWizard website.
Security Setting Requirements
- Security code: The security code for your account is a 4-digit number that you choose. Your 4-digit security code should not be a number that could be easily guessed by another person. The security code is different than the optional quick-access PIN on the OurFamilyWizard mobile app.
- Security question: A question to which only you would know the answer.
- Security answer: The answer to your security question. Security answers must be at least 5 characters long.
Updating Your Security Settings on the website
You can update your username, password, security code, and security question and answer by logging into the OurFamilyWizard website: www.ourfamilywizard.com
- In the main navigation menu, click My Account.
- Click on the Login & Security section from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Within the Account Information box, click Edit next to each item.
- Provide new values for the settings you wish to update.
- Click Save in the upper left-hand corner.
Updating your security settings in the mobile app
- In the app's main navigation menu, tap the Home icon.
- Tap the more button (the three dots)
- Then tap Security
- To set up an easy access PIN code on the mobile app, tap the icon next to "PIN."
- This setting allows you to bypass username and password authentication with a four-digit code to log into the mobile app. This is an optional feature and only available for the mobile app
- To change or update your Username and Password on the mobile app, tap the arrow icon next to "Username" and "Password"
- Make the desired updates to your username and password. Please note, in order to change your username or password, you will need to enter your current password.
- Click Save in the upper right-hand corner of the app to save your changes.
