OurFamilyWizard includes features to make video calls more private, less distracting, and easier to use. These updates are available to all customers with access to Calls. Please note, feature availability may vary depending on OurFamilyWizard App version.
Background Options
Choose a virtual background or blur your Call background to increase your privacy during a Call.
- Blur your background to reduce distractions
- Choose a virtual background, including:
- Gradient
- Garden
- Office
To use this feature and apply a background:
- Begin, navigating to Calls
- Tap, Video Call to begin video call to your co-parent
Tap "More" during the Call to access background options.
- Select and Apply your background. Once applied, the Call background will automatically update to your selected design.
Flexible Self-View Placement
Move and reposition your self-view during calls.
- Tap and drag the self-view to move it around your device screen.
- Currently available on iOS. Coming to Android soon.
Landscape Mode Support
Use video calls in landscape orientation
- Currently available on iOS only.
Connection Quality Indicator
Get notified when your connection is poor, helping you quickly understand and troubleshoot call quality issues.
