The Messages feature in OurFamilyWizard lets you communicate securely with your co-parent or other connected family members or professionals, all in one place. Always have a clear record of your communication.
In this article, you’ll learn how to create a message, choose recipients, and write your message. You’ll also see optional features like attaching files and reviewing your message before sending so you can feel confident using Messages right away.
Create a New Message
Log in to your OurFamilyWizard account.
From the main navigation menu, select Messages.
Click the New Message icon to draft your message.
Choose Recipients
Tap in the field next to To. Select one or more recipients from your connected family members or professionals.

You can send messages to:
The other parent
Connected Third Parties (such as grandparents)
Connected Professionals (such as attorneys)
Note: Only users connected to your family can receive messages.
Write Your Message
Enter a Subject to clearly describe the purpose of your message.
Type your message in the Message field.
Review your message for clarity and completeness before sending.

Add Attachments (Optional)
Click Attach File to include documents, images, or other files. Attachments you add will be shared with the recipients of your message. The files will be stored in the MyFiles section of your account.
Send the Message
When you're ready, click Send in the top right corner to deliver your message.

Once sent, the message is automatically:
Time-stamped
Saved in your message history
Visible to all selected recipients
Click Cancel to discard your message or save it as a draft.
After Sending
Sent messages appear in your Sent folder.
You can return to any message at any time to review or respond.
Messages cannot be edited or deleted after sending.
Helpful Tips
Keep messages focused and child-related to make communication clearer and more productive.
Use descriptive subject lines to make messages easier to find later.
Remember that messages are part of a permanent record and may be reviewed if needed.
