How do I sign up and download the app?

Getting started with OurFamilyWizard is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to create your account and download the app onto your device.

Step 1: Sign Up for an Account

If you're the first coparent to sign up on OurFamilyWizard, please follow the steps below.

If your coparent has already created an account, and you're the second coparent to sign up, please read this article instead: My co-parent has an account, how do I get started?

1. Go to www.ourfamilywizard.com

2. Click Sign Up  

3. Follow the sign up prompts, choosing For Parents

4. Create your parent account

5. Enter information for your coparent. OurFamilyWizard requires you to enter:

   1. Your coparent's First and Last name

   2. Your coparent's email address or their phone number.

      Why do we ask for email? Inviting your co-parent via email makes sure your accounts are connected right from the start. It's the fastest way to get going on OurFamilyWizard. If you don't have your coparent's email address, please enter their phone number instead.

6. Add information for your children. OurFamilyWizard requires you to enter:

   1. You child's First and Last name

      Why do we ask for your children's names? Adding your children's names enables you and your coparent to add them to events, expenses, and more. You can anonymize the name, if you prefer. An email address is optional.

7. Choose the subscription option that works best for you and purchase your subscription. 

8. Create a username and password.

9. Follow the on-screen instructions set up your security settings and log into your account via the website.

Once you’ve finished signing up, you can log in from any supported device or browser.

Step 2: Download the OurFamilyWizard App

OurFamilyWizard is available on both iOS and Android devices.

For iPhone or iPad:

1. Open the App Store.

2. Search for OurFamilyWizard.

3. Tap Download or Get.

4. Once installed, open the app and log in using the username and password you created.

2. Search for OurFamilyWizard.

3. Tap Install.

4. Open the app and log in using the username and password you created.

Step 3: Log Into OurFamilyWizard

1. Open the OurFamilyWizard mobile app and log in using the username and password you created.

You can also access OurFamilyWizard from any web browser:

1. Visit www.ourfamilywizard.com.

2. Click Login.

3. Enter your username and password.
