How do I create a new client account?

My Cases is the central hub for managing all your connections with clients using OurFamilyWizard. This is where you'll go to send new requests, respond to access requests you've received, review client subscription statuses and more.

With a Practitioner Account, you can create client accounts in a simple 3-step process. After accounts are created, we'll reach out to the parents to help them get started on OurFamilyWizard.

  1. From My Cases, click the Add Family button.
  2. The Add Family form will pop up. Complete the form by entering the client information to create OurFamilyWizard accounts for both co-parents.
    1. Enter the Name, email address, and phone number for your client. Phone numbers are optional but recommended.
    2.  Enter the Name and Email of the co-parent. Phone numbers are optional but recommended. Note: When you create accounts for clients, OurFamilyWizard reaches out by phone and email to aid parents in getting signed in and started. To help with this process, please provide as much contact information as possible for both parents.
  3. For each parent, decide whether you wish to have professional access to their account using the radio buttons below their names.
  4. Click Review Family Information. Confirm the information is accurate.

Note: If you receive an error message stating we are having trouble creating your client's account, it's likely that they already have an account on OurFamilyWizard. If this happens, click the Link to Exisiting Family button or contact our customer support team for assistance.

  5. Click Continue.
  6. Review the Payment Options screen. If you do not wish to pay for the parents' accounts, click Do not pay for first year subscription and then click Create Family Accounts. Parents will be provided with two free log-ins and can activate their subscription through their account.
  7. Once the accounts have been created, the parents for whom you've provided an email address will receive a message with their login information and instructions for getting started.
